The heat from the baking ovens was suffocating. I was sweating buckets, and had just gone outside for a five minutes break, when I heard him. The sunlight blinded me, but I could tell he was there. No one could move like he could. Graceful as a spider, he climbed up and down the buildings. I tried to squint at the sun, wanting to see him, but I couldn’t. I could feel him descend from above. I closed my eyes to block out the painfully bright light. I could smell him, clean sweat, and bubblegum. His lips hesitantly touched mine.
