There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.
I thought I’d be a little better at letting you know what’s going on behind the scenes this year. So far, I’ve failed. I have ‘Writing Update’ written on my blog spread in my bujo, but in January I used that post to talk about my goals, and if February we happened to have the Super Bowl sale on the day I’d scrawled it down, so…
But, here’s a new try!
So writing update! I’m not writing, sorry. I set my word goal to 250.000 words this year, and I’m 23% done, which means I’ve written 57.724, but I don’t finish anything!
I write a little here and I write a little there, and these last couple of weeks, I haven’t written at all.
I am in the process of re-publishing some of my old stories, so I’m working through them, but I would be lying if I said I wasn’t frustrated at this point.
The plan was that I should be writing, and almost be finished with the third Rockshade story at this point, but I haven’t started. Instead, I started writing a witch story, because witches are fun, right? Then I lost a vampire, and there came a werewolf, and I messed up the mystery, and yeah…
And now when I’ve gone through my old books, I realise I have so many guys in Nortown I meant to give stories. Timothy was meant to be next, and Andre’s boss needs him, and Gary only made a quick appearance in Chris’s shop, but I had plans for him too.
I think we can agree on one thing – I’ve lost the plot LOL
