Back in January 2025, Love is Free – a lgbtq anthology, was released. All stories had to be under 5k, and my contribution was titled The Gloves Are Off.
Now The Gloves Are Off will be released on its own. It’s only 4.8k so a really short story, but it will be out on September 12th

All Trae wants is Hector, but Hector is dating Kaden.
When Trae Naylor was nine, he met Hector Cyr, and ever since, he’s wanted to be by his side. The problem is that for the last two years, Hector has been dating Kaden effing King. A complete idiot who doesn’t deserve him.
On Hector’s birthday, Trae leaves the conference he’s attending early to be able to steal him away for a few moments, but would it be wrong of him if he never returned him?
