It’s giveaway time!!! 

Last year, Holly released Call Me Charles in October, which is a story that celebrates National Motorcycle Ride Day. It’s a contemporary story about Charles who is having a really bad day.

The most similar story I have to Call Me Charles is probably Crazy Joe. There are no motorcycles in it, but it’s a contemporary story about Jonas who doesn’t have the best of days either.

Both stories have past (in Charles’ case it’s both past and current) bullying, but both Charles and Jonas find their happily ever after in the end.

He lost his nametag, missed the bus, and was late for his shift in the sandwich shop, but that isn’t the worst. The worst is that he’s accidentally been poisoning Hubert, the owner of the candy shop across from the sandwich shop, with gluten despite Hubert ordering gluten-free sandwiches.

When Charles finds himself soaking wet on a deserted road in the chilling October night, the worst gets an entirely new meaning. But right as he’s about to give up, Hubert comes driving on his motorcycle. Being responsible for gluten poisoning aside, Charles has never been as glad to see his knight in black leather, but is going home with Hubert a good idea or will the worst get even worse?

Crazy Joe

Abe Cooper is starting over. For fifteen years he’s lived the life that was expected of him, but not anymore. He’s packed up his things, bought himself a cabin in Northfield, and managed to secure a job at the local high school teaching gym and coaching the football team. But his new beginning didn’t include running into Crazy Joe on his first trip to the grocery store.

Jonas Raghnall has everything he needs—good friends and a job he loves. He’s worked hard to get over what happened sixteen years ago, but one run-in with his past and all the memories come flooding back. Seeing Abe Cooper, The Abe Cooper, sets everything out of balance.

Abe had pictured a fresh start with no ties to his past, but now that Jonas is there, he wants nothing more than to be close to the man who had butterflies filling his belly when he was in high school. Jonas doesn’t want to come face to face with his past, but if he sees Abe every day, it’s not really meeting up with your past, is it? It’s more like a date with your future.

Giveaway time!!! Last year, Holly released The Bear Claw in August. It’s one of those stories I wrote for my own amusement. I love a traumatised hero who finds his happily ever after with someone he never thought he’d be with.

The Bear Claw is a cafe and Shiro is a baker. He has a special ability that allows him to put emotions into cookies. The problem is that he’s terrified of the shifter customers so his emotions aren’t something he wants to share. When Pitch, a dominant wolf shifter, sees Shiro, he wants him for his mate. But it’ll take more than a few cups of coffee to convince him they’re meant to be.

My best match is probably Black Bird, so we’ll go with that. Arlo is a healer, but once he’s healed someone, he has a biological urge to get away from them. As a result, he moves from place to place, and as soon as he’s healed someone, he needs to leave again. When he heals Nash, he’s intent on repeating the pattern, but Nash is a werewolf and Arlo is his mate. So Arlo needs to leave, but Nash can’t let him.

So two fated mates, interspecies couples stories this month.

He can order him to, of course, but since he threatened Pitch with a knife when he allowed his power to leak, he doesn’t think it’s the way to go. Instead, he’s settling to see how many pastries and cups of coffee he can consume in a day.

Two years ago, Shiro escaped an abusive relationship, and he’s not looking for a new one, but when word gets out Shiro is an unmated sub, dominants are invading the bakery. Pitch does his best to scare them off so he can woo Shiro at his own pace, but things escalate too fast. Will Pitch be able to get Shiro to trust him before it’s too late? Can he convince him he wants nothing more than to make him happy and keep him safe?

But Nash’s anonymous existence is jeopardized when a man with an enticing scent moves into town. From the moment Nash lays eyes on the stranger, nothing is more important than being close to him. Not even guarding his secret.

Arlo isn’t interested in a relationship or even a date, his past has taught him nothing good comes from it, but the rather pushy local popping up everywhere he goes has his heart somersaulting. If his heart is somersaulting or not doesn’t matter, because when Nash gets injured, Arlo is the only one who can save him.

Having used his powers, Arlo has to leave Nash and the cozy town he wanted to make his home, but can Nash survive being separated from his mate?

Cover Reveal | Keep it Down!

We have a cover for Keep it Down!!! It feels like forever since I had a new cover to show off. I was meant to have written stories for both the Hugs or Kisses and the Night or Day calls, but I messed up on the Hugs of Kisses. Or messed up is the wrong word. I like what I have so far, but I exceeded the upper word limit, so it won’t be a Hugs or Kisses story.

As soon as I’ve made it through my July deadlines, I’ll see if I can get back to it, and maybe if things go well, we can have an autumn release. Maybe.

But enough about that, we have a cover now! Keep it Down! is the story I wrote for JMS Book’s birthday celebrations. In July, JMS Books is turning twelve, so they requested stories that have something to do with twelve.

I had so much fun writing this, and it made me remember how it was to be living on the third floor without a lift in the building and having a broken foot. Happy times LOL.

One day, Eason Wickham will push his next-door neighbor down the stairs. Nate Allen might be hot, but he’s the most annoying person Eason has ever met. He has no respect for the people living in the building, and night after night, he has a party. Whenever Eason rings his doorbell and tells him to keep it down, he flirts and tries to get Eason to come inside.

Calling the cops does not affect Nate’s behavior, and neither do Eason’s angry Post-It notes. But when Eason is hit by a car and fractures his leg, Nate sends his friends packing and makes sure Eason is okay. He cooks for him, shops for him, and does his laundry, but he’s still the most annoying person Eason has ever met. Right? The cute Post-Its Nate leaves for him to find doesn’t mean he’s a different person, and while Eason longs for when Nate will get off work every day, it doesn’t mean they should be more than friends. Does it?
